Ongoing/Current Projects
1. LECDA-USA plans to organize virtual town halls to share information with the Lebialem community on current social issues.
2. In May 2020, LECDA organized a COVID-19 town hall which brought in seasoned medical professionals to educate the community about the pandemic.
3. Plans to organize another town hall are currently underway.
4. Support internally and externally displaced population of Lebialem due to the crisis in Cameroon
5. Develop and update a website and a Facebook page for the association
6. Reform LECDA-Life, a communal solidarity fund to meet community needs.
7. Do underground work to revamp LECDA Cameroon.
Past/Completed Projects
*LECDA-USA Shipped 14,000 PENS and 14,000 pencils to Lebialem for Distribution among elementary School kids. *Shipped computers and Books to Lebialem for Distribution among Lebialem Schools. Donated funds to the Mary Health of Africa Hospital Expansion project. *Secured and shipped 10 computer workstations for distribution to colleges (local high schools) in Lebialem. Provided 150 benches for Secondary School in Lebialem. * *Produced annual publications including: Reports and Convention Proceedings and Member Almanacs.
